Outreachy May 2019 to August 2019 Internship

Dear Outreachy applicants,

Thanks for your interests in mUzima! Here is the timeline you can put on your application for Outreachy May 2019 to August 2019 Internship.

Week 1: Introduction, setup weekly calls/daily scrums time, overview of mUzima/Outreachy Internship Expectations/Timeline, overview of mUzima for Health Provider App, overview of mUzima JIRA/mUzima Wiki
Week 2: Research on top three JIRA plugins for testing and documentation along with the pros and cons. The plug should allows to test against different version of mUzima apk and mUzima Core Module with the same set of tickets.
Week 3: Start using the JIRA plugin for testing and documentation, create first ten test tickets along with description of ticket, steps and expectations for each step, indicator for each step (fail or pass) on mUzima JIRA. Present the testing steps via screen sharing/conference call for those ten tickets.
Week 4: Make adjustments for those ten tickets and write up documentation for those ten tickets on mUzima Wiki. Then, present the test steps via screen sharing/conference call for those ten tickets.
Week 5: Work on second set of ten tickets (similar to Week 3) and write up documentation for the second set of ten tickets on mUzima Wiki (similar to Week 4). Then, present the test steps via screen sharing/conference call for those ten tickets.
Week 6: Work on third set of ten tickets (similar to Week 5) and write up documentation for the third set of ten tickets on mUzima Wiki (similar to Week 5). Then, present the test steps via screen sharing/conference call for those ten tickets. In this week, intern will share what works best, what could be improved, and what don’t work well as that point so that intern can make changes moving forward for next weeks.
Week 7: Work on another set of fifteen tickets (similar to Week 5 but now fifteen tickets instead of ten tickets) and write up documentation for the another set of fifteen tickets on mUzima Wiki (similar to Week 5). Then, present the test steps via screen sharing/conference call for those fifteen tickets.
Week 8: Work on another set of fifteen tickets (similar to Week 5 but now fifteen tickets instead of ten tickets) and write up documentation for the another set of fifteen tickets on mUzima Wiki (similar to Week 5). Then, present the test steps via screen sharing/conference call for those fifteen tickets.
Week 9: Start to work on testing twenty of existing tickets against different version of mUzima for Health Provider app and mUzima Core Module. Document any issue and how those issues got resolved on mUzima Wiki.
Week 10: Continue to test on another set of twenty existing tickets against different version of mUzima for Health Provider app and mUzima Core Module. Document any issue and how those issues got resolved on mUzima Wiki.
Week 11: Write up on mUzima Internship experience and present to mUzima Team.
Week 12: Hold as for unexpected event on previous weeks so intern can catch up.
